Archery GB Instructor Award is the industry’s leading training course for archery. The course is designed for learners with little or no prior experience of archery. In order to attend this
Archery GB Instructor Award course, you must be at least 17 years old by the first day of the course. The course is held over two days and includes a practical assessment. When you pass your Instructors Awards course, you gain an Archery GB Instructor licence which will last for three years. After three years you can renew your Instructors Award licence with Archery GB.
Please note that the licence does
not provide the holder with insurance. Therefore, you will need to arrange insurance cover for yourself or through the organisation you are using the Award with.

Archery GB Instructors Award FAQs1) What should I bring to the course?
Please bring some paper and pens to take notes, and a packed lunch lunch. Tea, Coffee and biscuits will be provided by Gateway Adventure.
Also, please feel free to bring your own bow, if you have one.
2) What resources will I receive?
To help your development and to complete the course, all participants will receive the latest Archery GB Award Handbook.
3) What should I wear?
Sports clothing and trainers, along with warm/waterproof clothes as the course is run with a mix of indoor and outdoors sessions.
